ABOUT BEVERLY

Beverly Rohman is a Senior Certified AD/HD Coach, and consultant for learning differences and school searches. A long time advocate and volunteer in the world of learning differences, she is the founder of The Learning Connections, LLC, which is dedicated to helping adults, families, and students who struggle with AD/HD. Beverly particularly enjoys helping clients develop their strengths that lead them to more successful and satisfying lives.

She has completed multiple and intensive training programs on learning, coaching, ADHD, neurodevelopment and parenting with such experts as Mel Levine, M.D., Russell Barkley, Ph.D., Patricia Quinn, M.D., and Jane Nelson, Ph.D. For three years, Beverly worked as personal assistant to psychiatrist Dr. Edward "Ned" Hallowell, renowned expert in AD/HD and best selling author of "Driven to Distraction", "Delivered from Distraction" and "CrazyBusy". A graduate of the University of Pittsburgh, she also has a coaching certificate from the Coaches Training Institute (CTI), is a graduate of the ADD Coach Academy (ADDCA) and Senior Certified AD/HD Coach through the Institute for the Advancement of AD/HD Coaches (IAAC). A regular contributor to the HealthWise supplement of The Star Democrat, the largest newspaper in Talbot County, Beverly also serves on the Board of Directors for the National Attention Deficit Disorder Association (ADDA) and Talbot Mentors.

Beverly has more than 25 years of experience working with families, individuals, and students who struggle with learning and achieving academic success, especially in the area of Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder. She actively presents workshops and lectures to schools and various organizations on all aspects of AD/HD, study skills and organization, positive parenting, and learning styles. Beverly also has extensive experience interacting with secondary schools and colleges who serve students with special needs, especially AD/HD.

National memberships: ACO, ADDA, CHADD, ICF, ADDCA, NCGIADD, IAAC

In her spare time, Beverly enjoys cooking, entertaining, family gatherings, gardening, home projects, reading, and sailing. She is active in her church and is a faithful Christian.

The mother of three young adults, one with diagnosed learning differences, Beverly and her husband, Peter, reside in Easton, MD.
